The architectural sliding door is ideal for larger openings creating some very impressive entries.

Stacker doors have two or more moving panels that slide and stack behind one fixed panel, enabling large areas to be opened up.

The design provides very strong 40mm panels creating strength for large heights and widths. And the heavy duty rollers can manage large panels that weigh up to 200kg.

With all movement fitted inside the frame, sliding and stacker doors are great space savers without clearance considerations.

Design Options

Included in the Architectural Slider Design is the flexibility to increase the number of sliding panels from the standard configurations.

If the house design calls for it, the doors can slide along external walls, and there is the ability to meet panels at 90° creating an opening corner.

The doors have an optional non-intrusive, low profile sill and can be recessed into a concrete floor so there is nothing to trip over.

Adaptability

• Awning windows can be added to the external fixed panel.
• Multiple panels can be incorporated into the design, allowing panels to slide over the walls, into cavities in numerous directions.
• Three sizes of facings available. This provides the opportunity for the doors to be as imposing or unobtrusive as required.
• Over-light coupling allows increase ventilation while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Appearance

• Change the look by adding in colonial or federation bars – these architectural doors can take on the minimalist look or can be something more traditional.
• Square shaped profiles offer clean, sharp architectural lines
• Externally the finish is flush and impressive

Performance

• Flush external drain caps offer increased water egress due to their ability to open and close to the elements as necessary.
• Increased panel sizes due to stronger panel integrity
• The maximum weight is 200kg. The maximum panel size is only limited by your imagination. Manufacturing techniques will change as the panels grow in size, this is necessary to ensure panel integrity
• 40mm architectural sliders are incredibly smooth running, long term performers with very low maintenance requirements.
